Life is difficult right now for so many people; Christians and non-Christians all face the same challenges and storms of life. But the good news is, if you are a Christian, in the midst of the hurt, sorrow, and confusion you can still have peace and joy! Oh yes! I believe that I have found the key and I want to share it with all of you. If you want peace and joy in your life, make it a priority every day to strive to love others like Jesus Christ loves you. Just try it and see! I guarantee it will change you, it will change the responses of others around you, and it will change your life. I did this and it changed my marriage. Make righteous living in the eyes of Jesus your priority. Strive to make Jesus proud of you—not man. Be the first to admit you are wrong. Be the first to forgive. Be the first to volunteer your service. Be the first to help others in need. Use your talents, money, and time to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to do his will. Say no to ungodly music. Say no to sex and violence on TV. Say no to the world’s way of doing business and say yes to God’s way. There is a song that I sing with the choir that says, “God’s way is the best way for you”. I have tried things my way so many times and failed. And I know for a fact that God’s way is the only way for me. No matter what I want to encourage you to be steadfast and unmovable in your faith and belief in God’s word. God is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him with a pure heart and earnestly do his will. Keep believing and trusting God no matter what. There will be tough times and struggles while we are in this life. But as you love others, Jesus will fill you all the more with his love, joy, and peace in the Holy Ghost! I know for myself with Jesus Christ there is peace in the midst of the storm. The bible says that we will all have storms and we will all have burdens to carry, but the good news is with Jesus your burdens will be light. Be encouraged and be thankful to God because you are not alone! Just put your eyes on Jesus and keep your focus on pleasing him in everything you do and he will fill you with himself. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe on him will not perish, but will have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus loved you so much that he came here to suffer and die a horrifying death so that you and I would have an opportunity to have eternal life after death. But not only that, the word says that Jesus came so that we could have a more abundant and fulfilling life right now as we live. Jesus said, “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10). Repent, believe, and receive his love today and you will have peace of mind and joy in the Holy Ghost with him living in you. Learn to love others as Jesus loves you. Bye for now and as always hold on to faith, hope and love.
